For those in the interorganisational domain

When organisations come together — across sectors, geographies, or mandates — the stakes are high. Partnerships, coalitions, and networks hold great promise, yet they also face complexity: diverging agendas, unequal power, cultural tensions, fragile trust. Without care, collaboration collapses under its own weight.

I work with inter-organisational domains where the challenge is not only what to do, but how to stay together long enough to do it. This is where my uniqueness really shines: few people can hold the turbulence of alliances, coalitions, cross-border networks, multi-stakeholder processes. These are spaces full of competing agendas, hidden dynamics, and fragile trust.

What I offer

  • Coalition & Alliance Facilitation – enabling diverse organisations to clarify shared purpose, build trust, and work across differences.
  • Inter-organisational Role Analysis – surfacing hidden dynamics between partners, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Strategy & Theory of Change (ToC) – co-designing frameworks that connect multiple mandates to common outcomes.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) – systems that track progress while feeding back learning across partners.
  • Policy Dialogues & Multi-stakeholder Labs – structured processes where government, civil society, business, and international actors can meet on equal ground.
  • Group Dynamics Workshops & Conferences – drawing on the Tavistock tradition, these experiential spaces allow representatives from different organisations to explore how unconscious processes, roles, and relationships shape collaboration. They provide a unique laboratory for learning how to act together differently.
  • Crisis & Mediation Support – when collaborations are at risk of breakdown.
  • Research & Consultancy – evidence studies and policy analysis to ground joint strategies in fact, not assumption.

Who I work with

  • Coalitions of NGOs or networks working on human rights, climate, or social policy.
  • Cross-border alliances responding to regional or global challenges.
  • Partnerships between civil society, government, and donors seeking common ground.
  • International agencies and local actors needing to align strategies.

Why this work matters

Inter-organisational domains are fragile but powerful. When they collapse, opportunities are lost. When they thrive, they become laboratories of the future — showing what cooperation across boundaries can make possible. Group dynamics workshops and conferences allow partners to experience, in real time, the hidden dynamics of collaboration, and to transform them into resources for joint action.
